Beschreibung

• Own a product area focused on backoffice cloud data processing solutions • Drive product strategy and execution, chart the roadmap, and manage the lifecycle of Verra Mobility’s backoffice systems • Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews, ride-alongs, and data analysis • Frame customer and business problems with clarity and evidence • Define and maintain a prioritized, outcome-oriented roadmap • Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Operations, product, engineering, IT, sales, design, and commercial teams • Own problems end-to-end and make prioritization decisions • Guide delivery with the technical lead and engineering team by creating context and removing ambiguity • Write outcome-oriented briefs and acceptance criteria • Leverage AI tools for discovery synthesis, documentation, and delivery workflows • Contribute to go-to-market strategy, including pricing, positioning, and launch readiness • Define and track success metrics linking customer outcomes to business performance • Serve as the internal expert for the product area • Report directly to the Director of Product

🎯 Anforderungen

• 3–7 years of product management experience, with a track record of owning outcomes • Experience leading customer discovery and translating qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional squad environment alongside engineering and design peers • Experience in regulated or complex-domain industries, such as automotive, fleet, payments, fintech, or similar, with a demonstrated record of learning new domains • Comfort working in and contributing to organizations evolving their product operating model • Active use of AI tools to enhance productivity in day-to-day product work, such as discovery workflows, streamlining documentation, automating research, creating prototypes, and accelerating delivery • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong critical thinking and a bias toward evidence over opinion • Knowledge of the transportation/smart mobility sector and road safety is a plus • Familiarity with product tooling such as Aha!, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or comparable platforms • Experience working with compliance, legal, or regulatory stakeholders in a multi-jurisdictional environment
