• Responsible for the strategic development, management, and execution of continuous improvement objectives • Collaborating with senior executives to ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and performance • Shaping and enacting the organization's strategic direction through the Hoshin Kanri / Policy Deployment process • Identifying priority areas for improvement and managing change initiatives • Tracking the impact of improvement projects • Facilitating the Hoshin Kanri strategic planning and alignment process • Developing A3 charters with planning leaders and participants • Utilizing Value Stream Mapping and Extended VSM to identify major reorganization of business processes • Serving or leading project management teams for future state VSM plans • Providing leadership and guidance to continuous improvement specialists • Serving as a Lean Trainer and developing others to train • Overseeing the analysis of existing processes for improvement • Leading change management efforts for effective adoption of initiatives • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for support and resources • Partnering with Plant Leadership for the HMS Performance Management program • Utilizing data and KPIs to evaluate success of initiatives • Managing a portfolio of improvement projects aligned with organizational goals • Implementing quality control measures for improved product quality • Maintaining records related to continuous improvement initiatives
• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Industrial/Manufacturing/Process engineering or related field is preferred • 15 – 20 years of relevant experience (required) • 10+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma role (required) • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical leadership role with strong management and leadership skills (required) • Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt certification desired • Experience in implementing continuous improvements and improvement systems • Proven time management skills: ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively • Results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment • Process improvement and data analytical skills preferred
