• Develop existing business and bring new business opportunities by supporting partners and customers through relevant knowledge and domain expertise. • Support the defined customers and Sales organisation throughout the sales process in your assigned area. • Showcase your expertise by participating in sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, focused on short and long-term goals and delivery of agreed sales targets. • Creating and executing the sales plan for the area, working closely with partners and customers, driving demand for the UK drives business working within the local sales unit. • Analysing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and the information provided by the Sales organization. • Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the drives portfolio. • Supporting the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, as well as in the preparation of competitive/strategic offers.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in driving sales growth, new business development, selective hunting and account management activities. • More than 5 years of front-end customer facing sales experience. • Strong customer and market focus, able to position the portfolio in a highly competitive market. • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales teams and functions. • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related technical field. • Proven experience in automation equipment including drives, PLCs and HMIs preferred. • Candidates must have permission to work in the UK as no visa support etc. will be provided. • Full U.K. Driving licence required.
