• Live in the client’s home for an agreed period • Provide high-quality, person-centred support • Help clients remain safe, comfortable and independent • Respect clients’ dignity, choices and usual routines • Adapt responsibilities to each client’s individual needs • Support people in their own homes throughout East Anglia • Work with a variety of client groups • Follow safeguarding responsibilities, policies, codes of conduct and ethical standards
• Female applicants only, due to specific personal-care needs and client preferences • Previous experience gained within a care setting • Compassionate, patient and respectful • Reliable, professional and able to work independently • Confident communicator able to adapt to different client needs • Committed to delivering safe and person-centred care • Car driver ideally, but not essential • Satisfactory safer-recruitment checks and appropriate vetting procedures • Enhanced DBS required • Must not be barred from working in Regulated Activity with vulnerable adults • Ability to undertake safeguarding responsibilities when working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
