📋 Description

• Review specification and pack copy • Review artwork • Review formulations • Complete regulatory adaptations • Apply codes of practice, policies, guidance, and regulatory requirements to product information • Explain technical and regulatory decisions to clients in clear language • Manage workload and prioritise tasks to meet client deadlines • Research and gather information using available resources • Lead advisors and support issue and performance management • Engage with trade associations, external professional bodies, and competent authorities in a regulatory or technical capacity • Review client artworks and specifications and identify non-compliances • Navigate specification systems such as FIND to gather data and documents • Identify missing documentation or information needed to progress specifications or artwork • Assess product safety and business risks and escalate issues when required • Adapt to clients' tolerance for regulatory risk • Analyse data sets to determine business efficiency and performance metrics • Support advisors in adapting to Ashbury's dynamic client work and meeting deadlines • Conduct internal or external audits to relevant standards • Consider clients' commercial requirements when reviewing artwork, specifications, and policies

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Product Information Advisor seeking career progression • In-depth technical knowledge of relevant codes of practice, policies, and guidance • Practical experience using specification or artwork systems and packages • High accuracy and ability to maintain expected work rate • Ability to apply requirements to product information and explain decisions to clients • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience working independently and managing workload and time • Risk-based decision-making experience • Ability to explain complex requirements simply • Ability to research and gather information using available resources • Ability to work under stress and meet tight deadlines • Ability to work efficiently in a team and maintain a consistent client approach • Ability to lead a team of advisors and manage issues and performance decisively • Experience engaging with trade associations, external professional bodies, and/or competent authorities in a regulatory or technical capacity • Regulatory, food safety, or food science knowledge across multiple categories • Ability to navigate and interpret UK and EU regulations • Ability to scrutinise artworks and specifications and identify non-compliances • Experience with specification systems such as FIND • Strong analytical, logical, solution-oriented, and critical-thinking skills • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and performance management systems • Experience analysing data sets for business efficiency and performance metrics • Understanding of Ashbury's ways of working and ability to adapt to dynamic client work • Regulatory, food safety, or food science knowledge to degree level or above • Experience conducting internal or external audits to a specific standard, such as GFSI • Recognised auditing qualification or recognised training on the relevant standard • Understanding of food manufacturing operations and bringing products to market • Ability to consider clients' commercial requirements when reviewing artwork, specifications, and policies
