📋 Description

• Design and build reusable AI/agentic capabilities, including MCP-based integrations, retrieval pipelines, and prompt and agent libraries • Partner with embedded AI champions to scope, prototype, and productionize function-specific use cases • Own model evaluation, selection, and optimization frameworks based on cost, accuracy, and latency • Build and maintain evaluation/testing frameworks with measurable accuracy and safety checks before deployment • Implement responsible-AI guardrails for data handling, hallucination controls, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints • Engineer AI for scale, security, and value across product, data, and support investments • Document technical standards and patterns so teams can self-serve on the platform • Contribute to internal training content and office hours for AI champions and business-unit staff • Build shared AI platforms and capabilities enabling adoption across BCD’s global business • Deliver production-grade AI solutions and improve platform reliability, accuracy, reuse, governance, and workflow adoption

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in ML/AI engineering, solutions architecture, or applied data science • Founder or early-stage startup experience required • Hands-on experience building or shipping products in a resource-constrained startup environment • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, prompt/agent frameworks, and integration protocols such as MCP and API-based tool use • Experience building for enterprise data environments with strict privacy and compliance requirements • Ability to work directly with non-technical business stakeholders to translate operational pain points into technical solutions • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for LLM output quality, safety, and drift monitoring • Travel, hospitality, or B2B services industry experience required • Experience with production LLM or agentic-AI systems ideally • Enjoyment of building, experimenting, and delivering measurable-impact solutions
