📋 Description

• Manage initial rollouts for new Benchling customers and expansion projects for existing customers • Own implementation success from project kickoff through go-live • Build and execute detailed project plans and manage project activities and deliverables • Ensure deployments are delivered on time, on budget, and at high quality • Understand customers' scientific workflows and determine how Benchling can meet their business needs • Lead requirements and design workshops • Perform data modeling and application configuration • Develop test plans and guide user acceptance testing execution • Train and onboard users • Advise customers throughout implementation and guide them in applying Benchling Best Practices • Document customer pain points and advocate internally for product changes • Identify account expansion opportunities and work with sales after go-live

🎯 Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Biological Engineering or a related field • At least 2 years of experience in a lab or R&D setting • Ideally experience in antibody discovery, strain engineering, or process development • Ability to empathize with scientists and quickly understand complicated scientific concepts • Software implementation experience, preferably with a SaaS software company • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with scientists, IT project leads, and executives • Ability to work successfully in a startup environment • Curiosity, creativity, and tenacity • Ability to travel up to 25% based on customer and project needs • Experience using Benchling, especially as a Benchling administrator, preferred but not required
