📋 Description

• Provide hands-on operational leadership and management support across multiple services • Support service managers to maintain quality, safety, safeguarding and regulatory compliance • Provide management cover and respond to operational challenges as required • Drive service improvements, monitor performance and support delivery of agreed objectives • Contribute to budget management, workforce planning and effective resource utilisation • Lead and support teams through change, service development and improvement initiatives • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to promote excellent outcomes for the people supported • Provide administration, planning and reporting through home working • Travel regularly across regional services, with occasional overnight stays

🎯 Requirements

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse • Substantial operational and management experience within health and social care, including responsibility for service delivery and team leadership • Experience of supporting services, managing competing priorities and improving performance across different locations • Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, safeguarding and regulatory requirements • Experience of budget management and operational performance • A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or an equivalent relevant qualification, or a willingness to work towards one where appropriate • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and influence positive change • Full UK driving licence • Access to suitable transport • Flexibility to travel extensively across the North East, North West and Scotland, including occasional overnight stays • Successful candidates subject to compliance checks, including three years of checkable references and relevant DBS/PVG checks
