• Leverage targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to Humana Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment • Focus on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues • Build relationships on front office to back office medical clinic sales calls within the territory • Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications
• Previous experience working in sales with documented success • Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point • Must be comfortable with daily travel and approx. 70% of time to include potential overnight travel • Must live within the defined sales territory or willing to relocate at your own expense • Attendance at offsite team meetings, which could require flights and overnight travel • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits • Your driving record will be evaluated as part of a third party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position
