âą Own features end to end, from the data model through the API to the user interface âą Design and review the database side of features, including schema changes, migrations, queries, and access control âą Build backend services in TypeScript on Node.js and Express âą Build frontend features with React, Vite, MUI/Emotion, Redux, and React Query âą Set technical direction and document design reasoning âą Review other people's code âą Support mid-level engineers on the team
đŻ Requirements
âą At least five years building production web applications in TypeScript, covering both frontend and backend âą Solid PostgreSQL experience âą Ability to read a query plan âą Ability to write production-safe migrations for customer databases âą Ability to reason about permissions âą Tests what they build and can explain how they know a change is correct âą Debugs across layers âą Raises risks early âą Fluent English, written and spoken
