📋 Description

• Prospect, scope, and close Laboratory Automation Solutions in Pharma, Synthetic Biology, and Clinical spaces • Work with Field Application Specialists and Field Project Managers to scope and deliver Laboratory Automation Solutions • Understand and grow market share in the assigned territory • Represent the organization in customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and other official occasions • Collaborate with team members to provide automated solutions • Deliver territory sales quota for hardware and consumables • Participate in continuous improvement processes • Champion Danaher core values and use of the Danaher Business System • Drive Voice of the Customer feedback throughout the business • Advocate for customers, product quality, and excellent customer solutions • Increase customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• BA or BS in Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science, or equivalent • 3+ years of sales experience in North America required • Direct sales experience and preferably experience engaging distribution channel partners • Deep knowledge and understanding of North America Biopharma, Academia, Government, and Life Sciences markets • Previous exposure to Laboratory Automation highly desirable • Clinical, Pharmaceutical, or Synthetic Biology lab experience • Strong analytical skills • Problem-solving attitude • Solid business acumen • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced, action-oriented environment • Ability to travel 25%, including overnight travel within the territory or other locations • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record • Laboratory Automation experience is a plus • MS or PhD in Life Sciences or Chemistry is a plus • Clinical Laboratory experience is a plus
