📋 Description

• Join Dentons’ Helix employment specialists team supporting a small group of key clients • Undertake volume employment tribunal litigation, predominantly unfair dismissal and discrimination claims • Work alongside Dentons’ UK Employment team and clients’ in-house legal function • Use technology-enabled ways of working • Take ownership of key client requirements and transactions • Handle core and high-profile aspects of client matters • Work collaboratively while operating with a degree of independence • Support more junior team members and demonstrate best practice in litigation handling • Develop and maintain client relationships • Deliver high-quality employment legal services

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified solicitor • Good academic record, including a degree or equivalent • Experience working on general employment matters • Solid grounding in collective and individual redundancy processes, unfair dismissal, and all aspects of discrimination • Exposure to employment tribunals ideally • Experience working with volume litigation is a valuable asset • Ability to handle a high volume of matters to tight deadlines • Technology awareness • Expert drafting skills • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Experience supervising more junior lawyers, paralegals, trainees, or apprentices is desirable • Commitment to exemplary client service • Problem-solving, policy-making, and business-awareness skills • Initiative and influence • Leadership and sociability • Organised, methodical, accurate, and able to prioritise and balance responsibilities in time-sensitive settings
