📋 Description

• Build a complex multi-tenant enterprise SaaS application for application workflows • Build and maintain the backend REST server that feeds machine learning data and business intelligence • Own the full lifecycle of designing, building, and launching enterprise applications • Work on greenfield projects with high ownership • Collaborate directly with the head of product, data science team, UX designers, and end users • Shape EvolutionIQ’s products through technology choices and roadmap development • Provide technical expertise, introduce engineering best practices, drive consistency, and help prioritize features • Continue developing engineering expertise while solving business problems involving large-scale structured and unstructured datasets

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience with the full feature development lifecycle, including working with product managers, deciding scope, and designing database schemas • 5+ years of engineering experience • Expert Python development skills • Strong systems design experience • Relational database experience • Proven experience using AI/agentic tools such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor • Experience designing, building, and launching backend architectures for multi-tenant, multi-user scenarios • Ability to move between rapid prototyping and stable production development • Ability to write technical design documents and perform code reviews • Knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering practices • Ability to understand clients’ business problems and demonstrate the business impact of technical solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Self-starter mindset and eagerness to solve unsolved problems • Excellent collaboration skills and openness to critical feedback
