• Develop and own recruitment, retention, and compliance strategies for new study opportunities • Contribute to proposals and bid defense documents • Identify and improve recruitment processes and methodologies • Support integration of recruitment and retention solutions, including third-party vendor solutions • Provide input into recruitment and retention budgets • Manage vendor request-for-proposal processes, review proposals and costs, and negotiate revisions • Escalate study concerns involving recruitment targets, tactical delivery, and vendor performance • Communicate recruitment and retention strategy to project teams during internal kickoffs • Lead tactical deployment of recruitment and retention strategies for assigned trials • Serve as the key recruitment and retention point of contact and escalate vendor issues • Create study-specific and site-specific recruitment and retention plans, including metrics and contingency plans • Review vendor contracts, change orders, and budgets; manage vendor negotiations • Approve vendor invoices and coordinate vendor documentation with Vendor Management • Oversee implementation of patient recruitment and retention tools and services • Track scope, budgets, timelines, triggers, and contingency implementation; report to Project Managers • Develop proactive risk and mitigation plans to keep recruitment and retention on track • Provide input into recruitment modeling, forecasting, and report reviews with clinical informatics • Oversee vendor service delivery, metrics, quality, timeliness, budget, and issue escalation • Liaise among vendors, project teams, sponsors, and third-party vendors • Ensure issue escalation and corrective action plans are implemented • Support organizational Patient Centricity goals • Support client-facing meetings concerning recruitment and retention strategies, performance, contracts, budgets, and risk plans • Establish client project-team relationships and follow up on appropriate actions • Manage vendor relationships and track vendor metrics • Collaborate across Feasibility, Recruitment and Engagement, and other departments • Perform other duties as assigned
• University/College Degree (preferably Post graduate and Life Sciences) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution or equivalent education and experience • Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements • Fluent in English, both written and verbal • Understanding of the lifecycle of a clinical trial • Working knowledge of ICH-GCP Guidelines, including relevant international requirements/guidelines for global clinical development programs • Minimum of 3–5 years relevant clinical research experience in an investigational site, relevant research institution, pharmaceutical, biotech, or contract research organization • Minimum of 2 years Project Management experience • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external customers professionally • Exposure to patient recruitment tactics and client-facing experience • Ability to negotiate and liaise with internal and external customers professionally • Preferred: previous experience working with vendors • Preferred: understanding and reviewing contracts • Preferred: experience working with sites recruiting for clinical trials • Preferred: experience contributing to proposals or business development activities • Preferred: understanding of Fortrea and its organizational structure • Preferred: understanding of relevant Fortrea procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures • Preferred: Project Management experience, functional lead experience, or experience leading an initiative • Presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to problem solve • Ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently in a decentralized/remote team environment • Flexibility and adaptability toward work assignments, organizational changes, travel, and new services • Ability to accommodate overtime and weekend work as required • Ability to travel internationally and domestically as required
