📋 Description

• Manage all aspects of preparing valuations • Interact directly with clients and manage project teams, including analysts and writers, to meet specified deadlines • Conduct appraisals under the supervision and review of a Manager • Use internal models to appraise various industries and projects • Conduct appraisals independently in coordination with the project reviewer • Plan efficient travel arrangements for inspections, including air, land, and hotel accommodations • Conduct on-site or telephone interviews to understand company operations, controls, management procedures, inventory makeup, and factors affecting inventory values • Document inspection notes properly • Identify valuation challenges and communicate issues to clients and the Business Development Officer before final report issuance • Supervise Analysts and Senior Analysts in the research process and review their work • Measure financial performance and operational metrics, including inventory and sales analysis, expense structures, seasonality trends, inventory turnover, and gross margin analysis • Review and contribute to appraisal report narratives • Participate in project reviews with senior management • Communicate with clients and uphold customer satisfaction • Explain or defend changes in value for new appraisals • Maintain the Gordon Brothers’ Appraisal Application database with accurate and timely contact, company, and project information • Uphold Gordon Brothers’ Core Values and contribute to strategic plan objectives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Science in a related field or equivalent experience • Up to three years of and/or analyst experience is desired • Achievement of two or more classes towards certification from a chosen professional society is preferred • Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications in a Microsoft Windows-based environment • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word is required • Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint is preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required • Maintaining a high degree of integrity and business acumen is required • Demonstrated analytical, presentation, and project management skills are desired • Problem-solving capabilities to look in-depth at information pertaining to a job is required • Ability to spread historical financial statement data, including income statement and balance sheet, is preferred • Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment handling multiple projects is essential
