📋 Description

• Produce must-have insights, market predictions, best practices, and pragmatic recommendations for Gartner clients • Work with supply chain practitioners and Gartner analysts across industries • Develop innovative, thought-provoking, and actionable insight content • Analyze client barriers and needs, identify root causes, and reframe thinking to advance strategy • Establish insights positions and provide independent thought leadership across an analyst team • Research, analyze, and predict logistics market trends and shifts • Provide actionable logistics operations advice through virtual and face-to-face client interactions • Create and deliver presentation materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings • Support BTI and Sales by providing market perspective, creating content, and driving client engagement • Conduct timely, high-quality peer reviews of content • Represent Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy as an industry expert • Participate in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaboration with the Insights community • Identify research process improvements and develop processes that improve service delivery • Mentor and coach junior team members • Encourage regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Located in Europe; home office based with remote work • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, with broad expertise in logistics-related operations • Proven track record developing and executing logistics strategy across transportation and warehousing • Experience managing relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and freight forwarders • Curiosity for new ideas and ability to link supply chain and logistics best practices, goals, and metrics to client objectives • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain concepts: plan, source, make, deliver, return, and service • Senior-level understanding of logistics operations and technology • Ability to interact at all organizational levels on logistics, supply chain, and business issues • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical, and presentation skills • Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data and applying patterns and frameworks • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts concisely • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive logistics landscape • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable
