HSL Compliance is a UK-based legal compliance services provider specializing in water hygiene, water treatment and asbestos services. The company offers risk assessments (Legionella and fire), routine and rapid water quality testing, water system cleaning, chlorine dioxide dosing installation and maintenance, tank replacement, TMV and electrical works, asbestos surveys and consultancy, plus accredited safety and technical training. HSL provides technical support and consultancy to help customers meet statutory ACOPs and protect staff from hazardous materials and activities.

📋 Description

• Champion a positive and practical QHSE culture across the Fire, Air & Asbestos Division • Coach and support operational leaders on QHSE performance ownership • Lead internal and external audits, incident investigations, root-cause reviews and corrective actions • Maintain and improve QHSE policies, procedures, management systems and safe systems of work • Provide practical QHSE advice to operational colleagues • Support mobilisation of new contracts, business change projects and acquired-company integration • Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting • Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and right-first-time delivery using audit, investigation and performance data • Deliver QHSE coaching and training • Represent HSL during customer audits, regulatory inspections and external reviews • Build working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers and regulators

🎯 Requirements

• Proven QHSE leadership experience within engineering, compliance, fire, air, asbestos or a similarly regulated environment • NEBOSH Certificate essential • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, auditing, investigations and ISO management systems • Practical and visible leadership style with ability to influence, coach and challenge at every level • Ability to turn performance information into priorities, actions and measurable improvement • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Highly organised approach to balancing operational priorities, improvement activity and stakeholders • Full UK driving licence • Flexibility to travel nationally as required • NEBOSH Diploma, Lead Auditor qualification, BOHS P402, BOHS P405 or Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CoCA) advantageous • DBS check may be required depending on the work undertaken
