📋 Description

• Develop as a C++ Engineer focused on macOS systems programming • Work with Swift, C++, Objective-C++ and C APIs • Build and maintain process-model, IPC, endpoint-security, network-extension, security, device-storage, packaging or deployment functionality • Profile CPU and memory performance using Instruments and os_signpost • Debug with LLDB, crash logs and os_log • Create and maintain tests using XCTest, sanitizers, fuzzing and xcodebuild-based CI • Support codebases shared across Mac, Windows and Linux

🎯 Requirements

• Modern C++ (C++17/20) and Swift 6 (async/await, actors, strict concurrency checking) • Objective-C++ to bridge Swift, C++ and C APIs • macOS systems programming with Foundation and CoreFoundation, GCD and pthreads, POSIX/BSD APIs, Mach IPC, launchd daemons and agents, and XPC (C API and NSXPCConnection) • Profiling CPU and memory with Instruments and os_signpost • Debugging with LLDB, crash logs and os_log • XCTest, sanitizers, fuzzing, and xcodebuild-based CI • Experience with Apple Silicon and Intel • Experience with codebases shared across Mac, Windows and Linux • Experience in one or more core-skill areas: Process model and IPC; Endpoint Security and System Extensions; Network Extension; Security and crypto; Devices and storage; Packaging and deployment; Performance, debugging and test
