β€’ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring ongoing alignment with their goals and expectations. β€’ Build and maintain trusted relationships through regular updates, strategic counsel, and consistent value delivery. β€’ Support the development and presentation of strategic communication plans and campaign reports. β€’ Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across traditional and digital media. β€’ Proactively pitch stories, news, and thought leadership pieces that align with client objectives and news cycles. β€’ Monitor media trends and identify opportunities for relevant media placements. β€’ Work with cross-functional teams to execute multi-channel PR campaigns that include earned, owned, and shared media. β€’ Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure campaigns run smoothly and effectively. β€’ Draft press releases, briefing documents, media alerts, and other communication materials with precision and flair. β€’ Track media coverage and prepare insightful client reports with clear metrics and analysis. β€’ Use data and client feedback to refine strategies and improve performance.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Minimum 3–5 years of PR experience, ideally in an agency setting. β€’ Proven ability to manage B2B, B2C, or Tech clients. β€’ Strong understanding of the South African and Sub-Saharan media landscape, with international media knowledge a plus. β€’ Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. β€’ Strong media pitching skills with a track record of securing high-quality media coverage. β€’ Ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure. β€’ A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
