📋 Description

• Lead the expansion and scaling of impactful partnerships with larger Fintech and financial institutions. • Cultivate and manage relationships with executives and entrepreneurs in B2B & consumer payments. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define solutions that empower customers. • Manage highly strategic customer opportunities through the full sales process. • Guide opportunities through the contracting process, working with the Legal team. • Speak with confidence about Marqeta's technology and its market value. • Lead the development of proposals and expert responses to RFIs/RFPs.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience, ideally within payments, Fintech, or complex B2B technology. • Mandatory Payments Expertise: A critical, demonstrable understanding of the payments ecosystem is essential for success in this role. • Comfort with the unknown in a rapidly evolving environment. • Proven familiarity with the fintech ecosystem and B2B technology applications. • Financial Acumen for evaluating and modeling customer proposals and resulting contract financial models. • Confidence in serving as the face of Marqeta for prospective customers and partners. • Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. • Superior communication skills with the ability to orchestrate the sales process effectively.
