📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior Solution Architects across EMEA, Middle East, and Africa • Serve as an executive technical sponsor on high-value deals through customer meetings, strategy sessions, and architectural deep dives • Manage team operational cadences, including structured 1:1s, professional development plans, and performance metrics • Drive strategic Go-To-Market initiatives and business operationalization to expand the global footprint and deliver measurable revenue growth over 6–12 months • Develop partner strategies with regional ecosystems to align technical architectures and scale business impact • Align cross-functionally with international leaders to unify pre-sales technical strategies with business goals • Lead the International Solution Architecture team and own strategic GTM initiatives and complex technical challenges

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of total experience in technical enterprise roles, including Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Professional Services • At least 5+ years managing, leading, or scaling pre-sales technical teams • Proven track record in enterprise solution selling and complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales cycles • Experience driving multi-million-dollar ARR targets • Experience institutionalising MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar value-driven sales methodologies across a team • Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP • Expertise in Snowflake and Databricks • Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB • Hands-on command of APIs, Linux environments, SQL, and data pipeline technologies • Active experience leading or deploying enterprise Generative and Agentic AI initiatives, including tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and n8n • Preferred/desirable: Matillion Data Productivity Cloud, Matillion ETL, or competing data integration platforms • Preferred/desirable: Spark/PySpark, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, and MPP database architectures including Teradata, Vertica, and Netezza • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related STEM field is preferred/desirable, or equivalent practical experience
