β’ Lead on day-to-day client activity and teams β’ Proactively seek and manage media opportunities for clients β’ Develop and cultivate key media relationships β’ Maintain a good understanding of clientsβ business objectives, media and issues in their wider industry sector β’ Manage and develop communications programmes for clients that enable them to meet their communication and commercial objectives β’ Assist with new business preparation and pitching β’ Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, proactively developing material and awareness of MHPβs digital offering β’ Manage and mentor junior team members
β’ At least 3-5 years of communications experience working in either an agency or in-house roles β’ Passionate about financial services with some experience working with clients in the sector β’ Highly motivated and keen to work across a broad spectrum of clients, including wealth and asset management, fintech, insurance, consumer finance, property, professional services, digital assets/crypto and investment management β’ Experience of working across corporate positioning, brand building and reputation management briefs β’ A track record of forming strong client relationships built on trust and respect β’ Understand the importance of staying creative and relevant in your approach β’ A forward-thinking view of communications with an appreciation of the role that different disciplines and skills can play in reaching audiences across a range of traditional and digital channels β’ Particularly strong experience working with digital assets/crypto firms is highly desirable, but not essential
