📋 Description

• Own annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis and funding cases • Own forecast accuracy and conduct post-mortems on forecast performance • Produce monthly board packs and reporting for existing and prospective investors and the receivables lender • Handle covenant reporting and onsite diligence • Present directly to boards, investors and lenders and answer analytical questions • Build models and documentation for equity and debt financing • Analyse term sheets and support the CFO on transactions • Work with the People team on cap tables and option pools • Own cohort economics, customer lifetime value, geographic and segment profitability, and marketing and sales spend returns • Build quota and commission models with the CRO’s organisation • Partner with Product and Engineering, Fulfilment, Fintech and commercial teams on build-versus-buy, hiring cases, pricing, fee experiments and capital allocation • Lead hiring, onboarding, objectives, development and performance for the finance team • Set review standards and the deliverables calendar • Agree data contracts with the Data team • Own finance tooling, including Snowflake, NetSuite, ThoughtSpot, Claude and the modelling stack • Deliver timely, accurate, reviewed external-facing financial numbers

🎯 Requirements

• Background in investment banking, FP&A or venture capital, building models used for senior-stakeholder decisions • Experience leading a team, directly or through managers • Experience presenting to boards, investors or lenders as the person answering questions • Working understanding of marketplace dynamics, including two-sided liquidity, take rates, usage-based revenue and FX impacts • Complex cohort modelling experience • Comfortable using Snowflake and a modern BI tool • Experience treating AI tooling as part of the finance technology stack • Ability to improve data pipelines rather than only reformat outputs • Calm under pressure, low ego and candid communication • CV submitted in English • Useful but not required: receivables financing or lender reporting, multi-jurisdiction groups, NetSuite, or cross-border physical-goods businesses
