📋 Description

• Design and develop high-load, distributed backend services for financial operations • Work on core payment flows, callbacks, reconciliation, and transaction lifecycle management • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions • Implement observability across services, including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing • Improve system reliability, fault tolerance, and overall platform resilience • Drive code quality, testing strategy, and engineering best practices across the team • Contribute to the platform's evolution toward AI-assisted and data-driven capabilities • Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and Architecture teams

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of strong, production Java experience • Deep expertise in the Spring Boot ecosystem • Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture • Experience building high-load or financial systems, including payments, banking, or fintech • Strong REST API design skills • Hands-on experience with messaging systems • Solid SQL skills; PostgreSQL experience preferred • Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling • Comfortable working asynchronously in a distributed, international team • Clean Code mindset, including SOLID principles, maintainability, and genuine ownership • Exposure to Open Banking or regulated payments environments preferred • Experience with Camunda or other workflow orchestration engines preferred • Understanding of PCI DSS compliance requirements preferred • Experience with event-driven or event-sourcing architectures preferred • Interest or hands-on experience with AI/ML applied to backend systems preferred
