📋 Description

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the learning design team. • Directly manage 4 learning designers, including setting expectations, coaching, development, performance check-ins, annual reviews, and addressing performance concerns. • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of learning design talent. • Lead delivery across multiple concurrent course development initiatives, ensuring quality, schedules, budgets, and resourcing. • Use data and technology to drive operational efficiency and excellence. • Identify risks and drive resolution to maintain timelines and quality. • Drive continuous improvement in service quality for partners. • Set service standards for learning designers supporting faculty. • Align Academic Services leadership and partner stakeholders across workstreams. • Evaluate capacity and adjust resource allocation according to business priorities and partner demand. • Monitor vendors to ensure quality and schedule requirements are met.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience leading a learning design team in a higher education context • 3+ years of learning design experience • Experience managing multiple course development projects concurrently • Innovation in process and technology to meet business needs • Undergraduate degree • Ability to travel up to 10% • Must reside in the United Kingdom
