📋 Description

• Provide regional finance leadership and business partnership across EMEA • Own regional financial reporting, planning, compliance and controls • Partner with the CFO, regional business leaders, global finance teams, shared-service teams and specialist functions • Provide financial insight, challenge and recommendations for business decisions and opportunities • Lead regional growth initiatives, business planning and key projects • Own EMEA budgeting, forecasting and financial planning • Analyze regional financial performance, trends, risks and opportunities • Ensure accurate, timely and useful financial information for regional leaders • Oversee regional financial reporting and review financial statements and reporting outputs • Oversee statutory, tax and regulatory compliance matters across EMEA • Maintain regional financial governance, internal controls and risk management • Act as senior regional finance partner and escalation point for operational matters • Lead continuous improvement and process transformation initiatives • Support migration from Microsoft Dynamics SL to an updated ERP platform, representing EMEA requirements • Lead and develop the regional finance team • Build relationships with senior stakeholders, global finance colleagues, shared teams and external advisors • Serve as principal finance interface between EMEA operations and the global finance organisation • Report directly to the CFO with a dotted-line relationship to the Managing Director, EMEA • Communicate financial information, updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders • Carry out other duties reasonably required by the business

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate and professionally qualified management accountant (CIMA or Dutch equivalent) • Proven experience overseeing finance operations across multiple EMEA legal entities and jurisdictions, including financial governance, payroll compliance, supplier management, financial reporting and local statutory/regulatory requirements • Significant proven experience reviewing financial performance, management reporting and key business metrics, providing financial insight and accurate management information for business decision-making • Demonstrated ability to provide financial analysis, challenge and assurance to senior stakeholders • Experience supporting establishment and ongoing management of legal entities across Europe, including financial, tax, payroll and regulatory requirements • Experience working within a global finance environment across multiple regions and legal entities • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organisation and influencing stakeholders across regions and functions • Strong understanding of VAT compliance, financial controls, international tax, corporation tax, transfer pricing, international payroll, multi-currency reporting and cash flow management • Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools and international multi-entity financial reporting processes • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Experience leading, managing and developing finance professionals, including performance management, coaching and capability development • Experience building and leading high-performing teams • Strong stakeholder management, communication, numerical, analytical, organisational and planning skills • Commercial mindset; ability to translate financial information into business insight • Ability to operate proactively and effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities • Experience handling confidential and sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity • Personally aligned with SANS' mission, values and commitment to excellence • Willingness and ability to travel as required
