📋 Description

• Support a key client at Simmons & Simmons as a junior corporate lawyer • Undertake a full-time, fully remote assignment expected to last 3 months • Review and draft contracts • Work independently while escalating matters when appropriate • Collaborate with the wider team and client team • Prioritise workloads and deliver work effectively to tight deadlines • Engage regularly with a sponsoring Partner and client team • Participate in training, development, networking events, webinars, and firmwide events

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 1-2 years PQE in corporate law • Comfortable working independently and knowing when to escalate matters • Strong contract review and drafting skills • Problem-solving ability and collaborative approach • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment • Ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise workloads • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as part of the wider team • Required to hold the relevant right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available • Required to complete the employer's background screening process; this may include a DBS certificate depending on the position
