📋 Description

• Provide travel and journey information to residents of Scotland using various public transport methods • Plan journeys and provide timetable information, service-disruption advice, and available fare information • Receive calls reporting road incidents, concerns, or queries • Log incidents and concerns accurately and precisely • Resolve incidents or communicate them to the responsible network operator • Handle out-of-hours customer service lines, including lost property, complaints, and network issues • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking transport information

🎯 Requirements

• Must live in Scotland or have extensive knowledge of Scotland’s travel systems/roads; the role states candidates must live in Scotland • Part-time availability of 20 hours per week • Full flexibility Monday to Sunday • Excellent customer service, listening, and communication skills • Good report-writing ability • Understanding and empathy • Ability to remain calm under pressure • Strong verbal and written skills with attention to detail • Ability to establish excellent customer relationships in a fast-paced environment • Can-do attitude and ability to interact with many different people • Professional and emotional stability • Ability to maintain consistent customer service when engaging with claimants • PC skills and ability to navigate multiple systems competently • Good, consistent typing speed and ability to multitask • Ownership, positivity, resilience, and dedication to service excellence • Adaptability and openness to evolving processes and change
