📋 Description

• Define and execute the AI platform strategy and roadmap aligned with CRG Digital and AI priorities • Establish the AI platform as a shared capability layer supporting AI-enabled products and workflows • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data platform, and security strategies • Lead the design and development of AI platform architecture, including model development, training, deployment, MLOps, LLMOps, model serving, monitoring, and lifecycle management • Integrate the platform with data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks • Support GenAI, agentic workflows, and traditional ML use cases • Build and scale reusable AI components, model libraries, prompt frameworks, orchestration tools, workflow automation, and agent frameworks • Enable self-service tools and developer enablement to accelerate development and reduce duplication • Establish AI lifecycle management practices, including versioning, validation, deployment, monitoring, performance tracking, and drift detection • Embed compliance, security, responsible AI, auditability, traceability, and regulatory standards into the platform • Enable federated AI execution through centralized standards, tooling, frameworks, and guardrails • Partner with Applied AI, Data Platforms, and Digital Engineering on solution design, data readiness, product integration, and delivery • Manage technology vendor and platform partner relationships and evaluate emerging AI technologies • Optimize build-versus-buy-versus-partner decisions • Lead a high-performing team of AI platform engineers, MLOps specialists, and platform architects • Define skills, roles, and career paths while building capabilities in AI engineering, platform operations, and emerging AI technologies • Drive adoption, reuse, deployment velocity, reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, governance, and organizational performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, engineering, AI/ML, or a related field • Advanced degree preferred • 12 years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, AI/ML engineering, or platform leadership roles • Proven track record building and scaling AI/ML platforms or data platforms in enterprise environments • Strong understanding of AI/ML and GenAI technologies • Knowledge of MLOps and LLMOps practices • Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern data architectures • Experience operating in complex, matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholders • Experience in regulated healthcare or life sciences environments preferred • Deep technical and strategic understanding of AI platform architecture and operations • Strong systems thinking and ability to balance innovation, scalability, and governance • Ability to translate platform capabilities into business and product impact • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence Product, Data, AI, and Engineering teams • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving technology landscape • Ability to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people • Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology proficiently • Ability to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening • Relocation assistance is not provided
