📋 Description

• Design realistic civil engineering scenarios involving major infrastructure and construction projects • Develop tasks covering complex design cycles, permitting, regulatory review, and construction delivery • Incorporate stakeholder, safety, environmental, and project constraints • Build structural, transportation, highway, water resources, environmental, and geotechnical engineering tasks • Apply structural load analysis, geotechnical site assessment, and hydrology or hydraulic modelling where relevant • Produce reference engineering calculations, design plans, and technical recommendations • Evaluate practical engineering trade-offs and project constraints • Develop scenarios involving engineering tools and enterprise project-management workflows • Apply relevant US and international engineering standards • Draft reference outputs and detailed evaluation rubrics • Assess technical accuracy, feasibility, safety, compliance, and project-delivery considerations • Produce technical narratives for regulatory, stakeholder, and project-management contexts

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional civil engineering experience • Experience with a major engineering consultancy, construction company, infrastructure organisation, or public agency • Direct responsibility for significant infrastructure designs, permitting processes, or construction projects • Expertise in structural, transportation, geotechnical, water resources, environmental, or construction engineering • Strong understanding of engineering standards, regulatory approvals, and public-sector oversight • Experience across multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder engineering projects • Excellent technical writing, analytical reasoning, and professional judgment • A degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline is highly relevant • Advanced engineering education may strengthen an application • Professional engineering credentials such as PE, CEng, EUR ING, or P.Eng are strongly preferred • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or HEC-RAS is nice to have • Familiarity with structural, geotechnical, hydraulic, or transportation modelling is nice to have • Experience applying ASCE, ACI, AISC, or AASHTO standards is nice to have • Knowledge of Eurocodes or ISO engineering standards is nice to have • Familiarity with NEPA or international environmental review processes is nice to have • Familiarity with permitting or regulatory approval processes is nice to have • Background leading multidisciplinary engineering reviews is nice to have • Prior engineering documentation, training-material, or structured-rubric writing experience is nice to have
