📋 Description

• Evaluate AI-generated lyrics for quality, creativity, coherence, originality, prompt adherence, and musical context • Identify awkward phrasing, repetitive writing, weak imagery, unnatural language, and stylistic inconsistencies • Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs and reference material for meaningful similarities and derivative patterns • Assess Japanese vocabulary, slang, colloquial expressions, regional usage, idiomaticity, and cultural authenticity • Evaluate lyrics across intended genres, sub-genres, musical styles, audiences, tones, and performance contexts • Apply detailed evaluation guidelines consistently and provide ratings and structured written feedback • Identify recurring AI model weaknesses involving language, creativity, originality, and cultural nuance • Contribute specialist Japanese music and language expertise to improving generative AI systems • Work independently while maintaining consistent evaluation standards across tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese • Strong ability to understand detailed written instructions in English • Professional experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, music journalist, or closely related music professional • Strong knowledge of the Japanese music scene • Excellent understanding of natural Japanese phrasing, slang, idiomatic language, and cultural nuance • Strong analytical judgement when evaluating lyrical quality and originality • Access to headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening • Broad familiarity with contemporary Japanese genres, sub-genres, and artists • Ability to work independently and apply detailed evaluation criteria consistently • Applicants may be asked to complete a Japanese bilingual competency assessment during onboarding • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
