• Solve complex technical problems involving RF and microwave systems • Analyse RF architectures, components, circuits, and signal paths • Apply RF engineering principles to practical system-level scenarios • Evaluate system performance, technical constraints, and design limitations • Identify incorrect assumptions, calculations, or engineering approaches • Apply electromagnetic theory to real-world engineering problems • Analyse electromagnetic behaviour, field interactions, and propagation effects • Review calculations, modelling results, and technical assumptions • Evaluate electromagnetic approaches for physical and technical soundness • Analyse antenna designs, configurations, and performance characteristics • Evaluate antenna behaviour against technical and system requirements • Review antenna modelling and simulation results • Assess design trade-offs, weaknesses, and limitations in antenna solutions • Evaluate RF propagation and channel-related engineering scenarios • Review wireless communications, radar, sensing, and related systems • Analyse propagation-related performance limitations • Review RF circuits, components, and subsystem designs • Evaluate technical specifications, expected performance, and engineering trade-offs • Evaluate EMC/EMI scenarios, interference mechanisms, system interactions, and mitigation approaches • Review RF and electromagnetic simulations, inputs, assumptions, boundary conditions, and outputs using tools such as HFSS, CST, COMSOL, MATLAB, ADS, or equivalent platforms • Evaluate RF measurement and laboratory-testing approaches, test results, characterisation data, and technical findings • Review technical specifications, system requirements, simulation results, calculations, and engineering data • Validate technical approaches against project requirements • Identify substantive engineering errors or unsupported conclusions • Provide clear, technically rigorous explanations and feedback
• Hands-on industry experience as an RF Engineer, Microwave Engineer, Antenna Engineer, Electromagnetic Engineer, or related engineering professional • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, RF Engineering, Electromagnetics, or a related discipline • Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, RF engineering principles, and signal propagation • Practical experience in one or more of: RF and microwave systems; antenna design and analysis; electromagnetic simulation and modelling; RF circuits and components; EMC/EMI; wireless communications, radar, or sensing; RF propagation and channel modelling; RF measurement and testing • Experience with HFSS, CST, COMSOL, MATLAB, ADS, or equivalent tools is advantageous • Experience with microwave or millimetre-wave systems, antenna arrays, phased arrays, beamforming, or MIMO is advantageous • Experience in radar, wireless communications, satellite communications, or RF sensing is valuable • Research experience or publications in RF, electromagnetics, antennas, or related fields are advantageous • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
