📋 Description

• Design and implement technology solutions using modern engineering tools and Agile practices • Work with self-directed, cross-functional, and product-oriented teams • Design databases, normalize schemas, and tune performance using indexes, query optimization, and execution plans • Plan and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities, including HA/DR, replication, and failover clustering • Manage database security, including user roles, encryption, auditing, and compliance • Implement and maintain new features and capabilities • Continuously improve the quality of technical products and services • Build and share technical expertise with Agile teams and organizational members • Follow industry and organizational best practices and participate in communities of practice • Automate processes and create maintainable, supportable, and testable solutions • Monitor technology trends and innovations • Provide operational support and troubleshooting for team products and services • Maintain controls and documentation for company and regulatory compliance • Provide coaching and training to new or less experienced team members • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Four+ years’ experience in advanced administration of relational databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL • Experience with database design, normalization, and performance tuning • Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning • Experience with security management, including user roles, encryption, auditing, and compliance • Experience managing large-scale, high-availability production environments • Hands-on experience importing and processing structured and semi-structured data files, including CSV, TSV, Excel, JSON, XML, BAI, 835, 837, flat files, and log files • Proficiency with SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent • Experience with bulk load utilities such as BULK INSERT, COPY, or bcp • Ability to design robust, reusable data ingestion frameworks • Knowledge of data validation, cleansing, deduplication, and transformation techniques • Experience writing scripts to parse and transform files • Ability to automate database imports and exports • Experience handling errors and logging in ingestion workflows • Experience with CI/CD for database deployments and GitHub • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment • Understanding and practical experience with modern software development practices, tools, and/or hardware technologies • Understanding of common IT security best practices • Position not eligible for immigration sponsorship
