📋 Description

• Provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, patching, and general support of database systems • Create and maintain databases and hosts for Production, Development, and various Test environments • Ensure database availability and recoverability meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and guidelines • Rapidly and accurately resolve database issues utilizing all available tools • Continuously monitor and tune database performance • Ensure integrity and availability of all resources, systems, and key processes • Support the Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy and a multi-region active-active setup • Create and assist users in creating Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or an engineering field • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting databases in an enterprise environment, with at least half of that time primarily in a PostgreSQL environment • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL version 15.x and MS SQL 1219/2022 • Experience supporting a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) in both Linux and Windows environments • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies: Postgres RDS, SQL Server RDS, Aurora RDS and EC2 • Experience with Database High Availability / Replication technologies (e.g., AlwaysOn, Postgres HA) • Scripting and automation experience.
