📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter expert for assigned regions on technical, food safety, and quality assurance matters. • Support regulatory compliance, product development and implementation, supplier and facility approvals, and in-store quality, food safety, and compliance procedures. • Conduct facility audits and/or quality visits at third-party or owned commissaries, bakeries, and distribution centers. • Assess food safety and food production process controls and compliance with specifications; support vendor and plant approvals. • Counsel stakeholders and assist in developing corrective actions and timelines; conduct follow-up visits to track progress. • Evaluate products for specification compliance through surveillance/cuttings and complaint investigations. • Create and review quality and food safety materials, standards, specification training, and assessment tools. • Provide store food safety and regulatory support as key contact/liaison for the assigned area. • Address food safety controls, equipment, regulatory issues, recalls, non-compliance issues/citations, HACCP or OSHA issues, and permitting assistance for remodels/new store construction. • Provide FSQA training as subject matter expert to Operations, Merchandising, Store Leaders, and other audiences, including major events such as 7-Eleven University.

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must reside in either Florida or South Carolina area and be commutable to the territory they support. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required. • 1+ years of management experience. • Registered Sanitarian, Certified Professional of Food Safety or similar certifications; degree preferred in Food Science, Environmental Science, Biology, or similar. • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Thorough understanding of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs, Food Defense, Auditing Principles, and FDA and USDA regulations. • Strong counseling, facilitation, training, and modeling skills; self-confident and able to speak one on one or before larger groups. • Strong communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail for technical reports.
