📋 Description

• Define and assess enterprise security architectures supporting Zero Trust, cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments • Develop architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, security requirements, and transition plans • Analyze system designs, integrations, data flows, identity patterns, and control dependencies for security and interoperability risks • Advise technical teams and leadership on security architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and remediation priorities • Produce architecture diagrams, design documentation, and executive-ready briefings • Support the Department of Veterans Affairs COSE program delivering cybersecurity operations, engineering, architecture, risk, and compliance support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience • Ten or more years of enterprise security architecture, systems architecture, or cybersecurity engineering experience • Demonstrated knowledge of Zero Trust, identity and access management, network segmentation, cloud security, and security frameworks such as NIST and RMF • Experience designing or evaluating security architecture in a large enterprise or Government environment • Ability to communicate complex architecture decisions clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
