📋 Description

• Engineer and assess security capabilities across identity, devices, networks, applications, data, and cloud platforms. • Translate NIST, FISMA, RMF, FedRAMP, and agency security requirements into implementable technical controls. • Support authorization activities by developing and reviewing system security documentation, control evidence, and remediation plans. • Analyze vulnerabilities, control gaps, and security findings; develop technical recommendations and track resolution. • Advise architects, engineers, system owners, and leadership on security design and risk treatment.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant technical experience. • Seven or more years of cybersecurity engineering, security architecture, or security assessment experience. • Experience with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and authorization-to-operate activities. • Experience applying Zero Trust principles and assessing security controls in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environments. • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and brief stakeholders on security risks and recommendations. • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
