📋 Description

• Act as a thought partner to product managers and experience leaders • Identify opportunities to optimize digital experiences through experimentation, behavioral analytics and data-driven decision making • Perform moderately complex analysis and develop actionable recommendations supporting growth and profitability targets • Monitor and communicate performance, trends and strategic insights for digital personal lines auto and property products • Assess market risks and opportunities and influence executive leadership decisions • Use SQL, Microsoft Excel, Essbase, Snowflake and Power BI to analyze large datasets • Support business cases for new initiatives through data synthesis, scenario modeling and financial impact evaluation • Apply AI tools and techniques to improve analytical efficiency and develop scalable decision-support solutions • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for leadership, regional partners and external team members • Streamline processes through automation, enhanced tools and data governance improvements • Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, State Product Management, Operations and other teams on new products, programs and processes • Travel occasionally to meet internal and cross-functional teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience • High school diploma required; related bachelor’s degree or higher may be in lieu of 2 years experience • 6+ years of analytical experience in insurance or related industries • Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills • Ability to structure and conduct analyses • Adaptability, multitasking capability and strong time management • Ability to make effective formal presentations • Strong oral and written communication skills • Proficiency in SQL, Excel and business intelligence/data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker • Superior knowledge of insurance, accounting and rate-making concepts • Extensive experience and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and structured analysis and design techniques • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States • CSAA does not provide visa sponsorship • Occasional travel of less than 10% may be required • Master’s degree, advanced degree and/or CPCU designation preferred • Experience with Snowflake, Python or R strongly preferred • Experience across multiple functions preferred
