📋 Description

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise semantic data and data connectivity across business domains • Partner with business and IT leaders to identify opportunities to connect and standardize data across systems • Position the semantic data layer as a product with customers, outcomes, adoption goals, and success metrics • Define and evolve the product value proposition in alignment with business priorities • Act as general manager of the product, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, strategic priorities, operational constraints, and business impact • Define and manage data products aligned to key business domains, users, ownership, and success metrics • Identify and prioritize use cases where connected data creates measurable business value • Drive adoption of shared data assets across business units • Lead development and evolution of enterprise ontologies, taxonomies, and data models • Establish a scalable semantic layer for analytics, AI, and operational use cases • Support structured and unstructured data integration for downstream AI and analytics applications • Partner with business domains, data engineering, enterprise architecture, and AI/ML teams • Translate business concepts into scalable technical implementations • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and definition through delivery and iteration • Define product requirements, success metrics, release plans, and critical adoption and impact metrics • Refine the semantic data product based on feedback and changing business needs • Evangelize connected semantic data across the organization • Partner with data governance teams on standards, definitions, data quality, regulatory compliance, and privacy • Mentor and grow a team of product managers • Travel as needed for enterprise, divisional, team, and other in-person meetings

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field • 10+ years of experience in product management, including data or data platform products • 3+ years of leading teams, enterprise-wide programs, or large multifunctional programs • Track record of owning products end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, delivery, and performance measurement • Experience ideally in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry • Direct experience with ontologies, semantic data models, knowledge graphs, or enterprise business entities and relationships • Hands-on experience with enterprise data systems, data platforms, or data integration initiatives • Ability to translate business concepts into structured data models and deliver data-driven products or platforms with technical teams • Strong understanding of data ecosystems, data governance, and cross-domain data connectivity • Experience enabling AI/ML or analytics use cases through structured and connected data • Experience leading or mentoring product managers or cross-functional teams preferred • Ability to travel as needed for enterprise, divisional, team, and other in-person meetings • Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the United States • CSAA does not provide visa sponsorship; applicants must not require immigration support now or in the future
