📋 Description

• Perform start-up, commissioning, and post-start-up field services primarily within the data center market • Plan and execute service work according to customer orders and expectations • Plan and prepare site work for larger project teams and manage related subcontractors at site • Execute work right the first time, on schedule, and according to quality standards • Work with Site Manager and Senior Field Service Technicians to identify improvement needs and drive improvement actions • Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and process failures; request corrective actions and escalate as needed • Assist the factory with data collection and timely reporting for fleet performance analysis, marketing intelligence, and service sales opportunities • Assist customers with spare-parts ordering, issue resolution, and provisioning • Perform duties in Power Delivery, Medium and Low Voltage Electrification, and Control Systems • Maintain assignment documentation and complete reports and test reports using job-related software • Promptly book travel arrangements upon receipt of assignments • Wear required personal protective equipment and uniforms • Perform collateral duties related to HSE, Quality, and Integrity

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 5 years of hands-on electrical/electronics engineering experience; OR associate degree/trade certification with 3 years of experience; OR bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience; OR high school diploma/GED with 3 years of equivalent work or military experience servicing critical power equipment • Theoretical experience in all aspects of electrical design • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Safety Codes and Regulations, and QA (Local & National) • Proven analytical and quality improvement ability • Ability to work with all levels of maintenance, engineering, and management • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products • Knowledge of Google suite of products (Sheets, Docs, Drive, and Slides) • Knowledge of project issue resolution software (BIM, Compass, CxAlloy, Procore, etc.) • Effective written and verbal communication with external customers, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders • Preference for experience with Emerson RX3i, Proficy Machine Edition, ABB AC500 PLC, Automation Builder, CP600 HMI, PanelBuilder, Zenon, Cimplicity, Woodward Easygen, LSS, computer networking, Wireshark, IED Scout, relay testing and configuration, and RTAC configuration • Fluent written and conversational English • Currently authorized to work and live in the US • Ability and willingness to travel 90–100% throughout the United States, including long-term assignments requiring consecutive weeks of travel
