📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end legal support for project business activities, including EPC contracts from tender through negotiation, execution, dispute resolution, and closure • Advise and collaborate with commercial, sales, finance, HR, EHS, and supply chain stakeholders • Ensure compliance and protect company interests • Manage legal risk across competition law, data privacy (GDPR), product liability, employment, investigations, claims, and litigation support • Partner with global legal teams and subject matter experts • Contribute to integrity initiatives and broader legal projects • Support investigations and policy adherence • Participate in regional and global Legal & Integrity teams

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school • Active bar admission • Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) • Substantial exposure to international legal, commercial, and regulatory matters • Expertise in contract law and negotiation, including EPC/project contracts, distribution agreements, government contracting, intellectual property, and digital law (SaaS, cybersecurity, AI, data privacy) • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, assess risk, and deliver practical solutions in complex environments • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset, with experience in cross-country, multicultural settings • Capacity to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships • Excellent communication skills • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to strategic legal initiatives and compliance frameworks • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, including EPC project work, across BA / Division / Support assignments • Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States
