📋 Description

• Serve as the primary on-site representative to the ABB end customer/user and other ABB field personnel • Preserve ABB’s Safety Culture in the field and prioritize co-worker safety • Occasionally take on team leader administrative responsibilities to coordinate internal field service activities • Assist customers with spare parts ordering, issue resolution, and provisioning • Perform collateral duties related to EHS, Quality, Integrity, and business needs • Perform duties involving power delivery, medium- and low-voltage switchgear/MCCs, protective relays, transformers, control systems, and related equipment

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Minimum of 9 years of experience in a support or field engineering position • Additional formal education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis • Experience with various electrical controls (power delivery) and systems • Experience with mid-voltage switchgear • Experience with low-voltage switchgear • Experience with motor control centers • Experience with transformer testing and maintenance • Experience with automatic transfer switches • Ability to read one-line electrical wiring diagrams • Ability to read blueprints and schematics • Ability and willingness to travel 60–80% of the time across TX, LA, MO, OK, AR, KS, AL, MS, and TN, with occasional travel to other U.S. locations • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
