📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot diagnostic instruments • Complete installations, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs • Diagnose technical problems across complex instruments and document resolutions • Manage customer issues through resolution or escalation • Plan and prioritize service visits and maintain inventory • Support on-call rotation, after-hour coverage, training travel, and critical account support • Follow regulatory, quality system, and laboratory safety guidelines • Partner with cross-functional teams and guide other Field Service Representatives • Meet service sales, cost-of-service, and KPI targets • Use remote support tools to maximize instrument uptime • Support Abbott Diagnostics customers as a trusted technical expert

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience • 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology • Ability to travel 25% within the assigned territory • Valid Driver’s License • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with laboratory instrumentation • Ability to work independently and in team environments • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to maintain certifications through ongoing training and development
