📋 Description

• Complete approximately three months of in-field and classroom training • Travel to customer sites in the Phoenix, Arizona region • Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measuring instruments • Work hands-on with high-tech Coordinate Measuring Machines using mechanical and electronic aptitude • Document service work and maintain accurate service records • Work independently while representing ZEISS in a fast-paced, innovative environment • Travel 70–90% within the region

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school graduate, completed GED, or equivalent • Alternatively, tech school, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or Industrial Mechanics • Alternatively, training and experience from a Military Technical School • Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment • Microsoft operating system knowledge required • Capable of lifting one article weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance • Able and willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per work week, including regular hours and overtime • Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment • Valid driver license required • Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems is a plus • Previous CMM installation and troubleshooting experience preferred but not required
