📋 Description

• Lead development and execution of national clinical education strategies for Abbott's LAA franchise • Design, implement, and enhance educational pathways supporting Amulet procedural success • Establish and maintain competency frameworks for Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers • Develop standardized training materials, procedural guides, best practices, and advanced educational content • Partner with Professional Education and Commercial Development teams to align field education with business objectives • Create and oversee onboarding and advanced development programs for clinical specialists • Conduct in-person and virtual training programs, workshops, and certification initiatives • Mentor clinical leaders, high-potential specialists, and regional trainers • Assess field clinical proficiency and identify performance improvement opportunities • Establish and promote best practices for patient selection, procedural workflow, imaging integration, implantation techniques, and post-procedure care • Support procedural excellence through strategic account engagement and consultation • Provide expert guidance during complex cases and high-profile account launches • Collaborate with commercial, clinical, marketing, research, medical affairs, training, and commercial excellence teams • Contribute to product launch readiness, educational planning, and strategic initiatives • Develop executive-level presentations and business reviews • Analyze training effectiveness, field development needs, performance metrics, dashboards, and educational KPIs • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership • Travel extensively to support the role

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Minimum 8+ years of experience within cardiovascular medical devices, structural heart, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, or related healthcare industries • Demonstrated expertise in LAAO therapies, structural heart procedures, or catheter-based cardiovascular interventions • Extensive experience training physicians, allied health professionals, and field-based clinical personnel • Proven experience developing and implementing educational programs at a regional or national level • Strong understanding of procedural workflows, imaging modalities, and cardiovascular anatomy relevant to LAA closure procedures • Ability to influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed environment • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills • Strong organizational and project management capabilities • Willingness to travel extensively, up to 60% • Advanced clinical degree or equivalent clinical background preferred • Previous experience in Structural Heart, LAAO, or Stroke Prevention therapies preferred • Experience leading national training or commercial development initiatives preferred • Professional education, field training, or sales training experience preferred • Prior people leadership or mentorship experience preferred • MBA, Master's degree, or advanced healthcare degree preferred • Strong analytical capabilities with experience utilizing business intelligence platforms and performance metrics preferred
