• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on order-to-cash handling tasks and internal processes • Perform Revenue Cycle team duties, including resolving revenue processes, handling EMR queues, and troubleshooting patient claims, charges, and appeals • Support workflow management and team resource allocation in collaboration with leadership • Attend and co-facilitate meetings with internal departments • Use Microsoft Office and EMR reporting tools to support team initiatives and leadership requests • Participate in cross-department project initiatives • Perform duties and document information according to SOPs and workflows • Support work queue turnaround requirements and contribute to process improvement • Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue Cycle and Order to Cash teams • Uphold company mission, values, Quality Management System policies, and procedures
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) • 2+ years of experience in a contact center, data entry, or customer service environment • 2+ years of experience using multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Epic, and Onbase • 1+ years of experience in a medical data entry environment utilizing EMR systems • Proven ability to solve complex problems related to overall workflow processes • Working knowledge of HIPAA Laws • Working knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing, and insurance terms • Working knowledge of laboratory terminology • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat; ability to navigate multiple systems within order workflow and manipulate files into PDF • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties with or without accommodation • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship • Ability to support work queue turnaround time requirements • Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing workloads, work a designated schedule, and work overtime as needed • Ability to type or work in front of a computer screen for approximately 90% of a typical working day • Successful completion of all Epic trainings for TOQ and PFS work queues • Preferred: experience with project-based work, peer mentorship, multiple concurrent work streams, and process documentation with Microsoft Visio or similar programs
