• Promote AbbVie products to meet or exceed sales goals in community/private practices, hospitals, and health systems • Develop and maintain relationships with neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, pharmacy, urology, urogynecology, obstetrics and gynecology, female pelvic medicine, ambulatory surgical center, and reconstructive surgery accounts • Identify customer needs involving training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement support • Address customer needs using appropriate AbbVie resources • Provide education and clinical/injection training to residents, fellows, and hospital personnel • Deliver anatomical and procedural information and training, including injection paradigms, postures, and anatomical considerations • Use AbbVie sales and data resources to improve productivity and product growth while implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan • Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote products for approved indications • Execute individual, department, and group resident/fellow trainings within hospital and health system accounts • Travel throughout the assigned territory and attend scheduled overnight training events and sales meetings
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience required • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of technical experience, including three or more years of sales experience preferred • High school diploma/GED required • Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products preferred in health systems and private practice • Ability to lift/pull 25–100 lb. training models • Ability to meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements • Valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements • Ability to travel adequately to cover the territory, including overnight training events and sales meetings • Documented history of strong sales performance preferred, preferably in clinical, technical, or consultative sales with multiple decision makers • Ability to manage complex sales and quickly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information • Ability to communicate, present, and train diverse audiences • Must satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain required credentials • HCIR requirements may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses
