📋 Description

• Educate Health Care Providers on patient support programs, access, and reimbursement using AbbVie-approved tools and services • Act as a subject matter expert on local, regional, and national payer policies and requirements • Advise HCPs on patient prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes and procedures • Develop and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the assigned territory • Facilitate clear, concise, and efficient information exchanges with FRMs, HCPs, and other stakeholders • Work in a high cross-matrix environment with sales, market access, and patient service teams • Use approved resources and data to support HCP education initiatives and enhance patient experience • Identify and report payer trends to Patient Services and market access account management teams • Own process improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and patient access strategies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent preferred • 3–5 years of experience in account management, payer account management, and/or access and reimbursement • Thorough understanding of payer policy processes, published coverage criteria and documentation, coding, prior authorization, and appeal processes • Understanding of rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services • Comprehensive understanding of commercial and governmental payer access dynamics • Strong communication skills and ability to navigate cross-matrix environments • Critical-thinking ability to assess and prioritize account-level workloads • Ability to work with HCPs, Field Reimbursement Managers, sales, market access, and patient service teams
