• Clarifying Illinois statutes, administrative processes, and compliance obligations for property tax protests. • Advising on local nuances for major counties, with a focus on Cook County. • Guiding us through how and when to file petitions (e.g., TRIM notices, deadlines, evidence), and explaining requirements for online vs. paper submissions. • Sharing best practices on the hearing process and effective protest preparation.
🎯 Requirements
• Have direct experience in Illinois’ property tax system—through your own practice, an established firm, or a government office. • Possess deep knowledge of county-level procedures, deadlines, and regulations, especially for Cook County. • Are an innovative thinker who combines creative problem-solving with a strong commitment to regulatory compliance. • Are available to consult on an as-needed, hourly basis via phone or Zoom.
