• Build and maintain partnerships with key opinion leaders and external healthcare stakeholders across assigned therapeutic areas and geography • Exchange scientific, medical, and technical information with healthcare professionals, researchers, professional organizations, and formulary decision-makers • Establish educational and research collaborations and identify clinical research and publication opportunities • Develop KOL relationships for advisory boards, company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research, and speaker development • Provide field insights and identify opportunities for cross-functional engagement • Provide scientific education and medical support to healthcare professionals and key institutions • Represent Chiesi USA Medical Affairs at national, regional, and local scientific meetings • Support clinical research initiatives, investigator-initiated trials, and collaborative initiatives • Deliver medical education presentations in varied settings • Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence in accordance with company policies • Participate in internal therapeutic advisory groups and cross-functional projects • Contribute to clinical research, medical education materials, internal training, monthly medical meetings, journal clubs, and team meetings • Mentor and support onboarding of new team members • Complete field activity documentation, expense reports, administrative reports, and required training • Maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and maintain professional licensing/certifications
• Completion of a graduate-level degree such as PharmD, M.D., D.O., DNP, D.N.P., PhD, MSN, MS, or equivalent healthcare professional degree • Relevant clinical experience • Post-graduate residency training plus 1–2 years of MSL or therapeutic-area-relevant clinical experience; PhD candidates may qualify with requisite experience • Demonstrated scientific and clinical expertise in the assigned therapeutic area • Exceptional clinical, pharmacoeconomic, HEOR, and real-world evidence knowledge and business acumen • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex scientific ideas to varied audiences • Ability to provide scientifically sound information to KOLs and healthcare professionals • Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and hospital credentialing processes • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary hospital credentials • Successful completion of a drug test, including marijuana testing • Ability to work effectively on diverse, multidisciplinary teams • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision • Ability to maintain professional licensing/certifications
